Cookbridgek's services are not bundled into an opaque suite. Each capability is independently documented and auditable.
Cookbridgek is a software platform that automates rule-based trading strategies. A client supplies their own trading logic — entry signals, exit conditions, lot sizing, and stop-loss rules — and the platform converts those rules into a configured execution pipeline. The typical onboarding takes three to five business days: initial configuration, a backtesting run over a minimum of 90 days of historical data, a broker API connection test, and a dashboard orientation session. The client then receives a configuration summary document listing every active parameter. Live trading does not begin until the client has reviewed and signed off on that document. The software does not select strategies, does not advise on which markets to trade, and does not guarantee any particular outcome — market conditions determine results, and the client bears market risk entirely.
Each service module is independently scoped so you pay for and configure only what your strategy requires.
Your trading rules are encoded into an executable configuration file. Supported trigger types include price-level conditions, time-based signals, and indicator crossover events. The automation layer runs continuously during market hours and pauses cleanly outside them. Every triggered action is written to the execution log with a UTC timestamp and the specific condition that fired it.
Before any live capital is at risk, your configured strategy is tested against historical tick or OHLCV data. You specify the date range and the starting capital. The backtesting report includes total return, maximum drawdown, Sharpe ratio equivalent, and a per-trade breakdown table. Reports are delivered as downloadable CSV and a structured PDF summary.
Three configurable risk layers are available: a daily loss ceiling (in KSh or percentage), a maximum open-position count, and a consecutive-loss pause trigger. Each layer operates independently. When any threshold is breached, the automation halts and an email notification is dispatched to the registered contact address. Re-activation requires a manual confirmation step by the account holder.
Cookbridgek connects to broker APIs using industry-standard OAuth and REST endpoints. Prior to go-live, the integration undergoes a handshake test in a simulated (paper trading) environment. A connectivity status indicator on the dashboard shows the current link state — green for authenticated and active, amber for pending, red for disconnected — so there is never any doubt about whether orders will reach the broker.
The slate-professional dashboard interface displays live position data, account equity curve, risk control status, and the unabridged execution log. Historical log entries can be filtered by date, instrument, or trigger type. The dashboard is accessible from any modern browser; a dedicated mobile view is available for on-the-go monitoring without sacrificing data completeness.
Transparency requires being explicit about scope. Cookbridgek does not provide investment advice, does not select or recommend trading strategies, and does not manage client funds. The platform is a tool for executing strategies that the client has independently decided to test and deploy. Performance in backtesting does not predict future live results — market liquidity, slippage, and changing conditions all affect real execution. Clients who are new to algorithmic trading are encouraged to operate in a paper trading environment for a minimum of 30 days before committing live capital. Support for strategy design, financial planning, or portfolio management falls outside the scope of Cookbridgek's services.
